The Bohemian Beat - The Spanish Civil War

This week Riddhi explores the significance of the Spanish Civil War, a major turning point in world history, a testing ground for the European fascists' military might. People from all over the world, including the likes of Orwell, Hemingway, and Neruda, joined the Spanish people’s fight against fascism. They did so out out of a commitment to an Ideal. They knew the importance of the war, what its outcome would mean to the world, and though most knew their efforts would be futile, they fought anyway.
